PORTER, Samuel (no replies)

Attention Jennifer: I send this letter to a person in the county who did lookups and don't know where that page is to find a correct address. I am posting here in hopes she will find it in this county queries.

Hello Jennifer,
I am helping a cousin find her lineage in Pulaski area. That is the name her father said his grandfather was from. He is Samuel Porter. We need to know his father and where he may have been from.

I have scanned roots web and ancestry for months. I have tried tracing the James and other Porters between there and Pittsburgh to no avail.
She said he was a blacksmith perhaps.

None of this seems to have links anywhere but feel there is something in Scrubgrass that would be a lead for us.

1880 census has Cora Bean age 7 daughter of William Bean
1889 Census has Samuel R Porter 8 father William.
I can't find William anywhere. Do you have any records for a William?
There may be some files for that county I haven't found yet if you can direct me to some on the net. I have deeds for other Porters, Hiram, Emanuel and Armstrong but no listing of possible sons to connect.
